B.F. Milam
B.F. Milam
B.F Milam is a Real Estate Professional in Wilkes County NC where he also serves on the Board of Directors for the local Wilkes Chapter of the Winston Salem Association of Realtors.    B.F. and his wife Tonia are members of Unified City Church where they lead the First Impressions team.  B.F. loves the outdoors and he enjoys mountain biking, jet skiing and running.  B.F. has volunteered on numerous projects in his community and has been a lifetime resident of Wilkesboro.
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Kim B. Cox
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Kim B. Cox
Kim served in the Tennessee Air National Guard from August of 1982 until November 2003.  He completed U.S. Air Force Undergraduate Navigator Training in 2004.  He served as a aircrew navigator during Operation Desert Storm receiving 2 Air Medals. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as an air war planner.  LTC Cox retired with over 4,000 flying hours as crewmember, instructor and evaluator. 

Kim has been married to his wife Betsy for over 42 years.   They have 2 children, Katie Sumner and Charles Cox.  They also have 5 grandchildren.
Kim graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1980.

In 1986 Kim took a position with the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Loan Specialist and retired in 2014 as the Director of Multifamily Housing. 
After retiring from HUD in 2014 Kim went to work for Walker & Dunlop as a loan originator.  He retired from this position in 2021.  He continues to work as a consultant in loan originations.

Ed Ellis, Son of Charlotte Ellis
Ed is a graduate from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington (GoSeahawks!), and received his Masters Degree from the University of Texas – Arlington (Go Mavs!) in 1985. He holds a NC Builder Contractor’s License, along with Real Estate Broker License from North Carolina and Texas.

Ed served as the HUD Disaster Coordinator for Regions VI – X until his retirement from HUD. Ed was responsible for the coordination from HUD Headquarters to the five HUD Regions; and, worked with State and Federal partners regarding to disaster preparation, response, and recovery activities.
Hannah Railey
Hannah Railey
Hannah Railey joined the board of directors in 2023.  She lives in New Albany, IN with her husband and two children.  She is a 2001 graduate of Indiana University. Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Hannah has lived in various cities in Indiana as well as Portland, OR.  She worked as a real estate appraiser from 2003 - 2012, specializing in residential mortgage valuation services and eminent domain/right-of-way appraisal for the state. In addition to participating on the board for the Charlotte Ellis Foundation, she also serves as a team manager for her children's school and travel soccer teams and volunteers for the local travel soccer club.

Kendall S.
Kendall joined the Charlotte Ellis Board shortly after receiving the Charlotte Ellis Memorial Scholarship in 2016 & 2017. She is a 2018 Graduate of Wilkes Community College and a 2021 Graduate of Surry Community College. Kendall currently attends WGU and will soon complete her BSBA in Human Resources. Kendall and her husband enjoy the outdoors and spend a lot of time in the mountains of NC. She also works actively in her local school system and has a degree in Business Administration as well as Accounting.
