The Charlotte Ellis Scholarship program has helped me throughout my college journey in ways such as paying tuition and purchasing textbooks. During this time, I have completed the Dental Assisting program at WCC, and without the support from the Charlotte Ellis Scholarship Fund, I would not have been able to do so. I am very thankful for the Charlotte Ellis Scholarship Fund, and it has graciously blessed me in helping me achieve my academic goals.

I graduated from East Wilkes High School where I was a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, Beta Club, Student Council, and 4 year Varsity starter on the volleyball, basketball, and the State 1A Championship softball  team. I am attending Wingate University where I am majoring in Nursing. My goal is to graduate with a BSN and be an OB Nurse.

I graduated from East Wilkes High School in 2022 and I am currently attending Wilkes Community College. I am in the Associate Degree Nursing Class of 2025 at WCC. I hope to graduate next year and then go to Appalachian to obtain my Bachelor’s in Nursing. I am grateful for your generosity in supporting my education.  This financial assistance will be a great help to me in achieving my career goals!
